In May 2026, we held an initial round of public consultation on proposals for a new residential development at Lostock Hall Farm, Poynton. We are writing to provide an update on the project and explain how the feedback received has helped shape the emerging masterplan.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the consultation. We received a wide range of comments, suggestions and questions from local residents, stakeholders and community groups. The project team has carefully reviewed all feedback and has used it to inform the ongoing design process.

Next Steps
The next stage will be the submission of an outline planning application seeking permission for up to 450 new homes at Lostock Hall Farm.
Throughout the determination of the outline application and beyond, should outline planning permission be granted, there will be opportunities for residents and stakeholders to comment on the development. We welcome your thoughts and comments at every step in the process.
